Bookmark your website with the world

With the increasing popularity of "Web 2.0" sites comes the opportunity for businesses to boost the number of visitors to their websites using bookmarks. How does it work? Take a look at the bottom of the page of an increasing number of websites (including this one- go on, scroll down and take a look), you'll find a row of icons for Facebook, Delicious, Digg and others.

Unlike the bookmarks you have on your web browser, these are shared with the world on Web 2.0 sites, often used for social networking. Simply clicking on one of them gives you the opportunity to post your content on the relevant website- potentially increasing the number of reader by literally millions! Go on- scroll back down and have a go.

Different sites use your bookmarks in different ways. Facebook (still our favourite), for example, simply shows an excerpt from your web page in your profile and on your friend's home page. Delicious shows a list of most popular sites at the moment. All display your web page content to a potentially huge audience!

I want more visitors to my website!

Of course you do. We all do! More visitors = More sales, and in these difficult times this is a great, cost effective way to market your business.  Call Pragmatic Design now on Wolverhampton 01902 58 10 12 or email us at info@pragmaticdesign.co.uk to find out how to increase your website's visitor numbers.

  • How sweet it is to have more traffic for your site without spending a single cent. Now it’s a sure thing that many sites have articles that offer tips and guidelines in how to generate traffic using only free methods. Because it is possible, you don’t need to speed a single cent, it may take time, to say honestly, I’m not going to beat around the bush with you, but in the end the result is really nice.
