Girl Friends - Logo, Leaflet and Web Design

Girl Friends, a new social enterprise specialising in programmes for adolescent girls, required a full corporate identity - including a design which could be carried across printed leaflets and their website.

An "urban" look was favoured for the overall design scheme, but it was important not to alienate parents, teachers and welfare professionals by making the material too focused on this aspect of the design. Pragmatic Design created a graffiti inspired logo, incorporating positive symbols such as stars, with a contemporary black-on-pink montage.

The use of a plain but modern typeface for the body text complimented the design, and also provided a level of formality for adults. The combined result is a striking set of complimentary marketing material, which will stimulate interest from the target audience.
