Bookmark your website with the world
With the increasing popularity of "Web 2.0" sites comes the opportunity for businesses to boost the number of visitors to their websites using bookmarks. How does it work? Take a look at the bottom of the page of an increasing number of websites (including this one- go on, scroll down and take a look), you'll find icons for Facebook and Twitter.
Unlike the bookmarks you have on your web browser, these are shared with the world on Web 2.0 sites, often used for social networking. Simply clicking on one of them gives you the opportunity to post your content on the relevant website- potentially increasing the number of reader by literally millions! Go on- scroll back down and have a go.
Different sites use your bookmarks in different ways. Facebook (still our favourite), for example, shows an excerpt from your web page in your profile and on your friend's home page.
I want more visitors to my website!
