Wolverhampton Self Storage - Website Design
Wolverhampton's leading storage provider needed to increase their organic search engine ranking and keep their website up to date. Pragmatic Design provided the solution.
Wolverhampton Self Storage already had a strong brand identity, and their cartoon character mascot "Paddy" gave their website an informal, helpful appeal. However, with their website being written entirely in Flash, it was all but invisible to search engines, difficult to update and not accessible to visitors without the Flash plugin.
Pragmatic Design discussed the options available with them, and it was agreed that one of our easy-to-use Content Management Systems (CMS) would be the answer- search engine optimised pages which which could be added or edited whenever needed. A new look for the website was created, which retained the colours and feel of the previous one- including Paddy!
As soon as the site went live, a jump in the amount of organic traffic was reported, and the Google tracking data was able to further report key areas of activity- something which the previous Flash based website could not provide.
