The Haven Wolverhampton use both printed and online newsletters to inform subscribers of their organisation's beliefs, values and campaigns.

Pragmatic Design work in close colaboration with the team at The Haven Wolverhampton to ensure that whatever the medium, the message is presented professionally- loud and clear! For the Summer 2008 printed newsletter, a completely new style was designed.

"The Haven's team wanted something new and fresh, but still familiar to their subscribers", explained a spokesman for Pragmatic Design, "so we kept their existing corporate colours, yet completely redefined the look and feel of the publication."

The online newsletter is optimised to provide fast transmission via email, and readability to all subscribers.

Dirty Dogs

With their launch day looming, Dudley based pet washing service Dirty Dogs needed not only an effective design for their leaflets, but also print. Pragmatic Design pulled out all the stops to ensure their success.

The leaflets needed to include photo's, a map, and lots of information about the new service, whilst closely adhering to their existing corporate identity. Pragmatic Design had only a few days to not only create the design, but also to print the entire run ready for the opening day.

Where Bluebirds Fly

When art studio "Where Bluebirds Fly" needed a website, Pragmatic Design gave them the opportunity to paint it for themselves.

The Halesowen based studio is a cornucopia of colour and creativity, but it lacked a presence in the online world- so they turned to Pragmatic Design for help. "We were truly in awe of the paintings in the studio." explained a spokesman for Pragmatic Design, "How could we convey the artist's vision and talent to the world?" The answer was as a simple as it was unique: let the canvas be the website!

The result is a wonderful website, vibrant in colour and creativity, yet fully standards compliant and search engine optimised. A gallery allows visitors to view every brush stroke on each of the sample paintings on display.

Wolverhampton City Learning Centre

Pragmatic Design created a stunning set of bespoke folders and leaflets to promote Wolverhampton CLC's new facilities.

The set comprised of a glossy 12 page brochure, stepped leaflets and a folder. A further set was produced to present DL sized leaflets and an A5 flyer within a unique bespoke gatefold folder.

Andy Leek Poster and Flyer

When musician Andy Leek, of Dexy's Midnight Runners fame, needed posters and flyers to promote his band, he turned to Pragmatic Design.

We gave him two options; both bright, eye-catching, colourful creations, designed to stand out from the crowd and appeal Andy's target audience. He liked them so much, that he took them both!

The Haven Wolverhampton Multi Language Flyers

Pragmatic Design have produced series of printed materal, including posters, flyers, banners, Annual Reports, and newsletters to increase awareness of The Haven Wolverhampton's work.

In order to include all members of the community, Pragmatic Design and The Haven Wolverhampton collaborated to produce many of the leaflets in Urdu, Gujarati, Hindi and Punjabi as well as English. Leaflets, banners and posters were also produced in Russian to supplement The Haven Wolverhampton's international work in Uzbekistan.

Raid After Dawn

Acclaimed Welsh music group "And Did Those Feet" asked Pragmatic Design to create CD booklet and onbody artwork Raid After Dawn- a compilation album featuring their best music from the last ten years.

And Did Those Feet and Pragmatic Design first collaborated on the band's website, and the move to other projects was a natural progression to the successful partnership.

The content management system (CMS) was based on the popular WordPress software, which was customised to suit the client's exact requirements. This allowed the customer to benefit from a bespoke system, whilst retaining the WordPress.

Comedy Tom Dot Com

When up-and-coming standup comedian Tom Roche needed a way to publicise himself online, he chose Pragmatic Design.

The result was a stylish website which includes blog and gig guide facilities. Using the content management system (CMS), Tom can easily add or update the pages himself from any web browser, no matter where in the world he's touring. This provides not only the highest level of flexibility, but is also very cost effective.

Pragmatic Design have since produced other material for Tom, including printed tickets for his sell-out gigs in Sutton Coldfield, using the same eye catching corporate branding as his website.
